Fairfax County, State of the Environment:

On January 12, you can express your views on the state of the environment in Fairfax County when the Environmental Quality Advisory Council (EQAC) will hold its annual public hearing at 7:30 p.m. in conference rooms 2 and 3 of the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, Virginia.

EQAC’s Annual Report on the Environment is available here, covering subjects like  water quality, air quality, noise, hazardous materials, solid waste, stream valley protection, wildlife management, light pollution, visual pollution, energy, climate change response and adaptation, land use, transportation and the use and preservation of ecological resources.
