Christopher Butzgy

Though always obsessed with owls, Christopher only became seriously (and obsessively) interested in birds in 2009 after finding a used copy of Kenn Kaufman’s “Field Guide to Birds of North America.”  Soon after, his yard began to fill up with bird feeders, water features, and brush piles.  Currently, he spends his time rescuing and caring for special needs guinea pigs, birding whenever the opportunity presents itself, and providing occasional wildlife transport.

Christopher works in customer relationship management and process design in the IT field when not staring out the window trying to figure out where his next birding excursion should be and lamenting why he wasn’t a birder when he lived in South America for four years.
