Diana Handy has been an Audubon member since 2011. She has over 19 years of professional experience in the environmental field and has worked for local governments, non-profit organizations, and private consulting. She currently works for the Arlington County Department of Environmental Services as a stormwater specialist. Outside of work, she is involved with numerous environmental stewardship and citizen monitoring activities, including volunteering with the Audubon at Home Program, Fairfax Master Naturalists, Virginia Bluebird Society, Fairfax County Park Authority, and Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District. While she enjoys her current career, she wouldn’t mind winning the lottery so she could retire and work on adding to her life list full time.
